Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

Congressional Black Caucus: Meeting Castro was da bomb!

Yo, yo, yo, dawg!  Wuddup in da HAV?  The CBC is just kickin’ it on the southside, yo!  Details:

Key members of the Congressional Black Caucus are calling for an end to U.S. prohibition on travel to Cuba, just hours after a meeting with former Cuban president Fidel Castro in Havana.

“The fifty-year embargo just hasn’t worked,” CBC Chairwoman Barbara Lee (D-Ca.) told reporters this evening at a Capitol press conference after returning from a congressional delegation visit to Cuba. “The bottom line is that we believe its time to open dialogue with Cuba.”

“It was quite a moment to behold,” Lee said, recalling her moments with Castro.

It was almost like listening to an old friend,” said Rep. Bobby Rush (D-Il.), adding that he found Castro’s home to be modest and Castro’s wife to be particularly hospitable.

“In my household I told Castro he is known as the ultimate survivor,” Rush said.

An “old friend” who just so happens to jail and/or execute dissenters.  With homies like that…

But hey, where would you get the crazy idea that liberal Democrats are commies or socialists or anything?

  1. Crush…left out the part about “amirica is still basically racist” being said behind closed doors. Of course castro states is was said, the asshats deny it was said. I guess all dems are now taking the lead that it is OK to go abroad and bash your own country and profusely apologize on its behalf.
Pisses me off to no end.

  4. Me three!
The dems aren’t even trying to hide it anymore! They are in power and aren’t worried about public reaction because they know that the media won’t report anything negative.

  5. Awesome! Let these imbecils have at it… The more dumb s#it like this they do, the harder we’ll roll Congress in 2010!! Between the black caucus/castro love fest and obama’s ‘I’m Sorry’ tour there’s almost no room for us to add anything, to expose them for the a$$e$ they’re readily make of themselves!!!

This is way entertaining. You go, leftards!!! May I suggest North Korea and the Taliban as next stop!!! Git obama’s dress and turban ready! We’s going places!

  6. My only fear is this, there are enough idiots out there who will continue to vote for these aSShats simply because they (the dems) will give them more for nothing at the expense of the taxpayers. I truely hope 2010 reverses course, but when 95% of a demographic group casts a vote simply because the candidate is from said demographic group, what does that say about the intelligence of the electorate. That 95% could not give a rat’s behind about a communist love fest and will continue to vote for whoever gives more for less work. Not to mention the 12M ish illegals they are now trying to bestow citizenship upon.

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse (money-benefits) from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy followed by a dictatorship.” The Decline and Fall of the Athenian Republic (1776) By Alexander Fraser Tytler, Scottish professor of history at Edinburgh

  7. With all the idiots who vote based on ethnicity, the commies, the islamofascists, the misguided and the angry leftarded bastages… the greatest one only got 53% of the vote. Not exactly a landslide… I believe his continuous series of never-ending screwups will eventually wear out that thin margin… I’m an optimist
