Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

How to Obama prepare to address school kids? With a teleprompter, of course!

Via JWF, and no, it is not a Photoshop.

Exit question:  Wouldn’t this have been a little easier to handle if he had just gone to the school where the kids were singing “Mmmm, mmmmm, mmmmmm“?

  1. This teleprompter set up was used to address reporters. When he met the kids in another room, there was no teleprompter. This incorrect story is shooting about the internet pretty quick.

  3. GB…

“I have to amend my comments above. I stated that it seems the president can’t have a conversation with the kids without teleprompters. He is capable of having a conversation with a class of sixth graders sans teleprompters after all. Whew! It was his remarks about the ‘Race To The Top’ program that he delivered to a class of sixth graders that required the use of his teleprompters.”

So while the conversation didn’t need a teleprompter, his remarks about the “Race To The Top” program to the sixth graders DID require one.

Bill Clinton would be proud of the word parsing, sir.

But let’s be charitable and take your White House talking points at face value, shall we? You’re implying that a teleprompter, which is easy to understand him using for campaign speeches or State of the Union speeches or whatever, is a necessity in answering press questions afterwards? Really? So he knows the questions the reporters are going to ask him beforehand and has his answers prepared on the teleprompter?

  4. I don’t care when or how he used it, Obama has no clue how utterly stupid he appears using a prompt in a damn classroom.

But then again, has this president done anything that doesn’t look, sound or simply is stupid yet?

  6. He didn’t use the teleprompters to address school kids.

He used them to address the media after talking to school kids.

Not that I relish in defending the man, because this will be one of the few, if any times, that I will.

  7. I can see using a teleprompter to give the state of the union speech….but REALLY?? Mr. Brilliant Orator can’t meet with the press without having a pre-written speech? It just gives the impression of dishonesty.

  8. Now KG are you implying that anyone with only Chicago area political experience could know about “dishonesty”?
But really? Does The ONE need a teleprompter to answer some questions?
