Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

Obama: How’s about a shout out to ol’ whats-her-name who died of cancer not having a good health plan? She did get a sweet t-shirt, though!

What a horrid, shameful man this narcissistic empty suit is!  Quoting The One:

I got a letter — I got a note today from one of my staff — they forwarded it to me — from a woman in St. Louis who had been part of our campaign, very active, who had passed away from breast cancer. She didn’t have insurance. She couldn’t afford it, so she had put off having the kind of exams that she needed. And she had fought a tough battle for four years. …

As Tom Maguire points out, she did have health insurance.  Granted, it was a high-deductible plan, but she opted to use the money to invest in a business instead of in her health.  I am very sympathetic, but if the left chooses to make an example of the need for socialized medicine at her expense, it’s a battle they will lose (again).

Anywho, continuing with B.O.’s quote:

… All through the campaign she was fighting it, but finally she succumbed to it. And she insisted she’s going to be buried in an Obama t-shirt.

If only she had access to a “corpse-man“, right?  Byron York observed thusly:

Many observers have noted that the president often seems extraordinarily self-referential. It’s all about him, they say. But even those critics might be a little taken aback by the “buried in an Obama t-shirt” remark. Is it really that much about him?  (Is Ed “Too Tall” Jones…too tall? – Ed.)

He never mentions her name, not once.  But he sure mentions himself and his branded t-shirt.  To quote John Hinderaker, “But enough about me: what do you think about me?”

Yeah, nothing says “hey, let me into Heaven” like a t-shirt touting a Marxist, pro-abortion, politician who believes HE is God.

  4. Move over Narcissus someone has overthrown your status. A person just lost her life all because of poverty. A tragic and sad story , but all Obama cares about and emphasizes on is the t-shirt. How self centered and selfish can you more be
