Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

Reid’s kid, running for NV governor, drops last name in campaign ads

What do you do when you’re the son of a Senator who is (a) about as popular as genital warts and (b) running for re-election in the same year that you’re trying to get elected governor?  Why, you try to make people forget you’re the fruit of his loins, of course!  Details:

In Rory Reid’s first campaign advertisement, there is no mention at all of his last name. Instead, youngsters just urge voters to support “Rory” in the ad about education.

The same is true on Reid’s website, where even in the biography section there is no mention of his relationship to father Harry Reid.

“Harry?  Harry who?  Never heard of him.”

  1. I guess Reid Junior is afraid of the bad taste in the mouth his last name would leave with voters. It stinks to be related to one of the most disliked men to ever serve in Congress.
