Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

Quote of the day, “CNN host mystified by opposition to illegal immigration” edition

Both of Rick Sanchez’ viewers were stunned at the sheer stupidity of this question:

It seems this thing has gotten so heated, by the way. And I just want to start right from jump street, as they say. (“They” do? – CL)  What is your beef with illegal immigration?

Oh. My. Stars.  “So, Congressman, why the opposition to the violation of our country’s laws?  I mean, just because you took an oath to defend the Constitution and uphold our laws doesn’t mean you actually have to defend the Constitution and uphold our laws, right?”

By the way, Newsbusters has the transcript of the whole browbeating…er, “conversation”…between Sanchez and Rep. Rick Murphy (R-AZ).

Nope…no liberal media bias!

  2. Rick Sanchez got his start down here in Miami as a news reader on the local NBC station in the 80’s. He was let go there for being an idiot and floated from one station to another as the local Cuban pretty boy news reader, getting let go at all the stations. Therefore he was perfect for CNN. What a moron.

  3. He also got drunk and ran over a pedestrian in Miami, resulting in the paralysis and ultimate death of the pedestrian. So with a background like that, CNN naturally thought it appropriate to hire him.

  4. He’s to dumb to be a reporter, yet he’s so good looking he make women swoon, therefore he’s the perfect news reader for CNN. Unfortunately, he’s still to dumb to know his role, and he tries to be provocative, making CNN look the stupider.

Remember he’s so dumb NBC wont have him.
