Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

Obama supports oil exploration…for Brazil, NOT for America

Well, he did vow to “skyrocket” our energy prices when he was running for president.  He didn’t say anything about doing the same to Brazil, now did he?  From IBD:

Now, with a seven-year offshore drilling ban in effect off of both coasts, on Alaska’s continental shelf and in much of the Gulf of Mexico — and a de facto moratorium covering the rest — Obama tells the Brazilians:

We want to help you with the technology and support to develop these oil reserves safely. And when you’re ready to start selling, we want to be one of your best customers.”

Obama wants to develop Brazilian offshore oil to help the Brazilian economy create jobs for Brazilian workers while Americans are left unemployed in the face of skyrocketing energy prices by an administration that despises fossil fuels as a threat to the environment and wants to increase our dependency on foreign oil.

Just to summarize:  America exploring for oil, bad.  Other countries not named America exploring for oil, good.  Notice that Oba-Mao said “we want to help you“?  He’d rather keep us dependent on foreign oil, and if he has to help the process along, he’s happy to do it.

This man’s contempt for the country over which he presides his sickening.  If America can wean herself off of American Idol long enough to pay attention to this madman, he would be routed out of office at the first possible opportunity.

Exit question: Is it just a coincidence, and not at all reflective of Chicagoland-style corruption and gangsta politics, that Soros is heavily invested in Brazilian oil?

  1. Unbelievable. Just freakin’ unbelievable. No, it’s not a coincidence that Papa Soros is heavily invested in Brazilian oil. That’s what Obummer is doing down there, looking after his interests. Making sure that Soros and his future is assured in case the 2012 election doesn’t go his way, or there is an revolution his minions can’t put down.
Have I lost my mind, is this an alternate universe I woke up in after being asleep for too long? What the hell is going on here?
Gotta stop. Blood pressure starting to spike again. Shit.

  3. Oh, and JG, yes, we are all locked into a Twighlight Zone universe from which there is no escape…i predict that his Anti-Christ-like powers will totally and supernaturally swoop down on America in the 2012 elections and render a slight majority brainless yet again and will win reelection! Why? Cuz I HAVE NO FAITH IN AMERICAN VOTERS!!! They voted the tool belt in to begin with!

  4. I scratch my head trying to comprehend the insanity of Barry. He’s ok with the Brazilians drilling for oil, but he wants his own country to rely on windmills, solar panels, tune ups and tire gauges?! This idiot should have been impeached yesterday. If Obama was truly is an environmentalist, he would be promoting the Brazilians to adopt the same insane energy policy that he wants for us to suffer with.

  5. […] Exit question: If drilling for oil destroys jobs, does this mean that Brazil’s unemployment is about to skyrocket? […]
