Crush Liberalism

Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

Obama to San Fran crowd: If I lose in 2012, you’re going to have to be self-reliant

Gasp!  Perish the thought!  Here’s Chairman Zero from San Fransicko:

At a million-dollar San Francisco fundraiser today, President Obama warned his recession-battered supporters that if he loses the 2012 election it could herald a new, painful era of self-reliance in America.

“The one thing that we absolutely know for sure is that if we don’t work even harder than we did in 2008, then we’re going to have a government that tells the American people, ‘you are on your own,’” Obama told a crowd of 200 donors over lunch at the W Hotel.

Self-reliance is a bad thing?  As opposed to reliance?  How’s reliance been working for you, liberals?

And to think that Normal America perceives B.O. to be a socialist!

  1. Self-reliant? Is he kidding? That’s exactly what most of us want, to be left alone by the government to do our thing to succeed. Or fail. Depending on the choices we made along the way and the amount of effort we put into our endeavors. This president is a real gem. If he keeps spouting this kind of stuff and threatening us with “self-reliance”, he might just spread the idea and get himself voted out of office.
    We can dream can’t we?

  2. wow…isn’t it amazing that they view with great dread the very thing we view with great esteem? Our contempt for government reliance contrasts starkly with their most heartfelt ambition…and they wonder why both sides can’t “work together”! Its like asking North and South Korea to work together toward “common ground”. When one side’s heaven is the other side’s hell, we’ve got problems

  3. It seems to me, the ones that ARE self reliant already, are not the ones he’s talking to.
It’s the ones that big government give hand outs to, in order to get votes in return.
