  1. I’ve seen it. I thought it was very well done. D’Souza methodically detailed Obama’s communist roots, his anti-colonialist beliefs, his ties to Islam, his hostility to capitalism, and why he is deliberatly destroying America. It also lays out Obama’s plans for a second term and how he will continue to disarm America in order to bring her to her knees. EVERY American should see this movie.

  2. The fact that Kanaka Girl takes it as fact should tell you it’s a joke. I’ve seen D’Souza interviewed about this several times and when questioned on providing facts for everything KG has described, he said he is simply suggesting and leading the viewer to make his/her own decisions…hoping there are people hateful and gullible enough to think the way he hoped. Obviously, he didn’t say that last part, but it’s pretty obvious it was his intention.

So I’ll put it up there with any Michael Moore films and simply not watch it. It sounds like another propaganda hit piece whose only hope for success is the amount of small minded people in the country.

  3. Wow Alli. Nice personal attack.

As for the movie..it’s pretty hard NOT to come to the conclusion that Obama’s beliefs are radical and anti-American when you factor in his actions, his deliberate weakining of the country, his siding with enemy nations while stepping all over our allies, as well as the fact that during his formative years, he was mentored by card carrying communists and drilled with anti-colonialism/America is an evil oppressor sentiment. Judge the man by his actions…. I believe he is an evil man who is deliberately destroying our country for whatever reason and the documentary backs that up. If that makes me “hateful” or “small minded” in your eyes, so be it. I’m not really concerned with your opinion of me. I would suggest, however, that you acutally WATCH the movie before you go off on a tangent about something you clearly know nothing about!

  4. Sorry KG, but you personally attack this man with such a vitriolic tone that it’s rather concerning. He’s not my favorite president either and as much I disliked Bush I still respected the fact that he was the president. That’s pretty American as to you calling someone un-American because you don’t agree with him. The “deliberate weakening of the economy” is a joke too given that you supported someone who wasted a lot of money on NCLB, bailouts and the needless Iraq war. I just love how you ignored the fact that Obama met his father once when he was ten years old yet seem to think he had all the man’s ideas drilled into his head though.

I will not watch this movie because I think it’s crap coming from a man whose motives aren’t exactly unbiased. Funny thing is that you watched the entire movie and still probably know nothing about him.

BTW, some mental health advice: If you’re guy doesn’t win this election, do what everyone else does and go on and live your life. It’s only four years. We’ve all made it through presidents we don’t like and lived. If you want to be more useful iblaming someone for the state of the country, then why don’t you bitch about how many congressmen who came into office as regular people but became millionaires while in office…or better yet, how about those Senators who’ve been around since I was a kid?

  5. Sorry KG, but you personally attack this man with such a vitriolic tone that it’s rather concerning

So me calling him out for deliberately destroying the country is “vitriolic” and “concerning” to you? I call it speaking the TRUTH. The man IS destroying our country. Perhaps you should be more concerned with the state of our country and our economy than with my dislike of Obama’s policies. You can keep putting your head in the sand and telling yourself that it’s no big deal. I disagree. The damage he has already done to the country may be unrecoverable. I do not believe our country will withstand another 4 years of Obama’s policies. But you keep telling yourself that it’ll all be okay so long as you keep getting your free birth control, abortions and gay marriage.

That’s pretty American as to you calling someone un-American because you don’t agree with him

First of all, I never called him “un-American”. I said he was Anti-America. I stand by that comment. I challenge you to show me ONE thing this guy has done that would lead you to believe he loves, much less likes this country.

The “deliberate weakening of the economy” is a joke too given that you supported someone who wasted a lot of money on NCLB, bailouts and the needless Iraq war.

You have NO IDEA who or what I supported 4 years ago. But I will clue you in……. I DISAGREED with Bush on many issues, including the bailout. Obama has taken a bad situation and driven us off the fiscal cliff. Why is it so hard for you to understand that we are headed for a major crash and burn financially?

I just love how you ignored the fact that Obama met his father once when he was ten years old yet seem to think he had all the man’s ideas drilled into his head though.

Ah, but Alli, if you’d watch the documentary, you would discover that it was Obama’s MOTHER who drilled him with his father’s communist and anti-colonialist views and she substituted Frank Marshall Davis (well known radical Communist) as Obama’s mentor and role model after BHO senior bailed. Add that to the fact that the mother and grandparents were communists, and you get an apple that didn’t fall far from the tree.

I will not watch this movie because I think it’s crap coming from a man whose motives aren’t exactly unbiased.

Of course it’s not unbiased. D’Souza never pretended that he was a supporter of Obama. He has lived under oppressive regimes, understands the value of freedom and opportunity, and he doesn’t want to see America fall to the same fate as India where everyone lives in squalor and there are no opportunities to better your life. It’s a no brainer! He has lived the result of the policies Obama is trying to implement here and has experienced first hand the catastrophic results.

Funny thing is that you watched the entire movie and still probably know nothing about him.

I would venture to say that I know a lot more about him than you do!

why don’t you bitch about how many congressmen who came into office as regular people but became millionaires while in office…or better yet, how about those Senators who’ve been around since I was a kid?

At last we agree on something! I’m all for TERM LIMITS and banning insider trading by members of Congress. I would go a step further and say we should revoke their lifetime benefits, and drop their pay to that of what a buck private in the armed forces makes. Any raises they get from there will be voted on by the people and will be based on how much money they save the taxpayers!

  6. KG I watched this movie last night and agree with you 100%. I told another democrat today ,at lunch, she probably wouldn’t want to see it either as it would cause her discomfort such as Alli. I didn’t dislike the movie Alli, because I am too stupid to know better but because I believed this man’s reasoning. Obama already has American nuclear weaponry reduced to 1500 warheads with a goal of 300 and “hopes” Russia will do the same but they haven’t.

  7. Glad we agree on the final part KG – I consider them far more damaging than anything Obama could ever do. My head is not in the sand. I am very concerned about my country but also have faith in it. You think Obama has driven us off a fiscal cliff, but refuse to see how his predecessor did the same. That’s the behavior of an easily mislead person documentaries like D’Souza’s bank on.

  8. I don’t know where you get the idea that I “refuse to see how his predecessor did the same”. I have been quite critical of Bush’s policies. But this blaming Bush crap is getting OLD. Obama took a bad situation and made it exponentially worse. If you want to know what our future looks like, take a look at Europe. They are on the verge of collapse and we are not far behind.

Trust me, I am not easily misled. I do my research. I doubt most of the people watching D’Souza’s documentary are either. Most of the people in the theatre I went to were quite well informed.

  9. My point is that Obama is not the sole cause. And all the evil things you wanted stopped were by a Senate that tried to stop everything he tried. I wouldn’t put Bush as the sole cause either…Cheney is a prick though (just have to say that sometimes). When I look at the problems, I don’t necessarily pin it all on the president because he only has 1-2 terms. The mainstays however (Senators mostly), I’m not easy on.
