Feckless Obama administration blasted for disgusting reaction to Libyan embassy massacre

Video link here, partial transcript here:

These optics suck, White House! I mean we have 4 Americans who are dead who were butchered and slaughtered because this administration did not have the foresight to fortify these embassies on the eleventh anniversary of 9/11. And there he is with all of his fanbois and fangirls in Vegas raising money while they scream ‘I love you!’ in the middle of an international crisis.

But hey, it’s ROMNEY’S STATEMENT that is drawing MSM scrutiny, right?  Effin’ lapdog media.

Obama Defense Department: Fort Hood shooting merely an act of “workplace violence”

Oh. My. Allah.  You’ve got to be bleeping kidding me!

Sen. Susan Collins on Wednesday blasted the Defense Department for classifying the Fort Hood massacre as workplace violence and suggested political correctness is being placed above the security of the nation’s Armed Forces at home.

During a joint session of the Senate and House Homeland Security Committee on Wednesday, the Maine Republican referenced a letter from the Defense Department depicting the Fort Hood shootings as workplace violence. She criticized the Obama administration for failing to identify the threat as radical Islam.

If bloodthirsty camelhumping jihadists don’t kill us first, political correctness will.

USA gives $20 million to Pakistan to show Sesame Street to “promote tolerance”

Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch are nowhere in sight. But there’s Elmo. And new creatures too, like Baily, a kindly donkey who loves to sing, and Haseen O Jameel, a vain crocodile who lives at the bottom of a well.

Sesame Street is coming to Pakistan but not as generations of Americans know it.

The TV show has a new cast of local characters led by a vivacious 6-year-old girl named Rani who loves cricket and traditional Pakistani music. Her sidekick, Munna, is a 5-year-old boy obsessed with numbers and banging away on Pakistani bongo drums, or tabla.

The U.S. is bankrolling the initiative with $20 million, hoping it will improve education in a country where one-third of primary school-age children are not in class. Washington also hopes the program will increase tolerance at a time when the influence of radical views is growing.

“One of the key goals of the show in Pakistan is to increase tolerance toward groups like women and ethnic minorities,” said Larry Dolan, who was the head education officer for the U.S. Agency for International Development in Pakistan until very recently.

Hey, why not?  I mean, they’ll listen to Allah when it comes to blowing themselves and infidels up; but once they get a load of Elmo and Haseen the Crocodile telling them to respect everyone and not self-detonate, then these heretofore loyal-to-the-death jihadists will tell Allah to go pound sand.  “Sorry, God, but puppets have told us that you’re full of crap.”

Because while the fear of death is nonexistent as a deterrent to commit murder, the guilt of having saddened Baily the Talking Donkey is more than they can bear.  Brilliant, B.O.

NYT scared of Christian GOP candidates, not so much on the alleged “Christian” Obama

And no, I’m not saying I think B.O. is a Muslim.  I think it’s pretty clear that Barry O worships a deity that he holds to be much higher than God, Allah, or any other deity…and that deity is Barack Hussein Obama.

But here’s what I mean: while the NYT is giving a virtual full cavity search to all GOP candidates about their religious backgrounds, such a vetting of then-candidate Obama’s faith just didn’t happen.  Oh, sure, they did the obligatory “Obama went to Rev. Wright’s church” bit, but that was it.  But here’s what the head honcho at the Old Gray Hag is saying these days:

This year’s Republican primary season offers us an important opportunity to confront our scruples about the privacy of faith in public life — and to get over them. We have an unusually large number of candidates, including putative front-runners, who belong to churches that are mysterious or suspect to many Americans. Mitt Romney and Jon Huntsman are Mormons, a faith that many conservative Christians have been taught is a “cult” and that many others think is just weird. (Huntsman says he is not “overly religious.”) Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum are all affiliated with fervid subsets of evangelical Christianity, which has raised concerns about their respect for the separation of church and state, not to mention the separation of fact and fiction.

Notice that Keller thinks that it is WE Christians who must “get over” our “scruples about the privacy of faith in public life”?  Let that sink in.  We need to “get over” our scruples?  I guess when you’re a liberal and have no scruples (pardon the redundancy), then you think it’s automatic that everyone else is without scruples, too.

Also notice that Keller lets the mask slip: “not to mention the separation of fact and fiction”.  Because to liberals like Keller, belief in God is belief in fiction.  Funny,  because while Keller finds Santorum’s Catholic background to be a “fervid subset of evangelical Christianity”, Keller himself is an alleged Roman Catholic himself!  If I didn’t know any better, I’d say that Keller was a bit sloppy on his research here.  Yeah, I know, how crazy of me to think the MSM is lazy in doing its job!

Well, at least the NYT is consistent with its contempt for all faiths.  Hmm?  What’s that?  Oh, that’s right

Among a dreary Republican field, Herman Cain stands out for using religious bigotry to gain political traction for his presidential ambitions.

Mr. Cain, a former pizza executive, started a few months ago by telling a reporter that he would not be comfortable with a Muslim in his cabinet. During a televised debate last month, he said his discomfort was due to the intention of some Muslims “to kill us.”

To recap: Muslims are not crazy and are beyond questioning, but Christians are crazy and need to be thoroughly scourged questioned.  Got it.  Thanks for the clarification.

See, when you have conservative candidates that are seemingly genuine in practicing their Christian faith and don’t modify it to fit with politically correct orthodoxy, the NYT and the rest of their MSM ilk find such candidates to be disturbing.  But when you have a leftist who supposedly comes from the same religion as these conservatives, yet said leftist bastardizes and mutates that religion to be more politically correct, then the left and the MSM (pardon the redundancy) are absolutely cool with it.  It doesn’t matter that the God constructed by Obama and Keller doesn’t exist…just so long as they don’t have to look at people like me who worships the God that does exist.  Keller is cool with B.O. worshiping a false God, but he loathes Normal Americans who worship the true God.

Nope…no liberal media bias!

Muslim soldier, hailed by CNN, who went AWOL for refusing deployment to Afghanistan arrested in Fort Hood for trying to make explosives

Boy, CNN sure does know how to pick ’em, right?

Last year, CNN reported on a Muslim soldier serving in our military who refused to be deployed to Afghanistan due to his Muslim upbringing.  CNN gave this guy the full Lewinsky treatment, gushing over his alleged “bravery” and humanity for not wanting to kill people.

Yeah, about that “not wanting to kill people” part

Police in Central Texas have caught an AWOL Muslim soldier from Fort Campbell, Ky., at a motel in the city near Fort Hood after he asked how to build explosives at a gun store.

A law enforcement official told CBS News that Pfc. Naser Abdo’s questions about explosives and how to build them made the gun store employee suspicious. When police questioned Abdo at his motel, he made references to a plan to kill or injure people, the official said.

On top of that, the goathumper is a pedophile.  Again, kudos to CNN for featuring the savory types amongst us.

If Islamonuts like this guy don’t kill us, political correctness will.

Exit question: Did this jihadist nutbar not stop and ask himself “You know, I wonder if it might not be a good idea to be a Muslim sniffing around a TX gun store for info on how to blow stuff up?”  Seriously, Mohammed…Texas?

New DHS “informational” video portrays white middle class Americans as potential terror threats

Janet “Nappy” Napolitano is our guard dog.  God help us.  Excerpt:

A new promotional video released by the Department of Homeland Security characterizes white middle class Americans as the most likely terrorists, as Big Sis continues its relentless drive to cement the myth that mad bombers are hiding around every corner, when in reality Americans are just as likely to be killed by lightning strikes or peanut allergies.

Despite encouraging viewers not to pay attention to a person’s race in determining whether or not they may be a terrorist, almost all of the scenarios in the clip proceed to portray white people as the most likely terrorists. Bizarrely, nearly every single one of the “patriotic” Americans who reports on their fellow citizen is either black, Asian or Arab. Imagine if the video had portrayed every terrorist as an Arab and every patriotic snoop as white, there’d be an outcry and rightly so, but this strange reversal must have been deliberate on the part of the DHS, but why? Is this merely political correctness taken to the extreme or is something deeper at work?

Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that the DHS’ own internal documents list predominantly white conservative groups as the most likely terrorists, such as Ron Paul supporters, gun owners, gold bullion enthusiasts, and a myriad of other comparatively banal political interests that are largely the domain of white middle class Americans.

Video at link.

I can see why she’d be focused on rednecks from Possum Hump, TN.  I mean, they practically fit the terrorist profile to a tee:

Holder: The most effective counter-terror method the U.S. has is its fearsome…court system

Ho. Ly. Shiite.  Who needs SEALs, right?

Holder’s declaration came in a Thursday speech to hundreds of progressive lawyers, advocates, judges and students gathered at the American Constitution Society’s annual gala. “I know that – in distant countries, and within our own borders – there are people intent on, and actively plotting to, kill Americans,” he told his legal peers in the enthusiastic audience. “Victory and security will not come easily, and they won’t come at all if we adhere to a rigid ideology, adopt a narrow methodology, or abandon our most effective terror-fighting weapon – our Article III [civil] court system,” he declared to much applause.

I can see it now:

Muhammed:  Hey, Ibrahim, let’s go blow up some infidels in America!  Where to this time: NYC, LA, Miami, San Franistan?

Ibrahim:  What, are you crazy?  Have you SEEN what the Americans are doing?  Dude, they’re mobilizing lawyers and judges and stuff!

Muhammed:  Holy falafel!  I mean, that sternly-worded U.N. Resolution was scary enough…but this?  May Allah help us!

Ibrahim:  Don’t fret yet, brother.  I’ve got a call in to the ACLU on this.  If anyone can stand up for our “rights”, it’s those guys.  But dude, if the ACLU can’t shield us from those fearsome black-robed giants and intimidating Armani-clad attorneys, I don’t know who can!

Exit question: Quick show of hands here, but am I the only one who’s impressed that Eric Holder actually knew part of the Constitution?  Someone check the forecast for Hell to see if it’s a little chilly.

What Osama has been doing for the last decade

Islam: The religion of peace p0rn:

The pornography recovered in bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, consists of modern, electronically recorded video and is fairly extensive, according to the officials, who discussed the discovery with Reuters on condition of anonymity.

The officials said they were not yet sure precisely where in the compound the pornography was discovered or who had been viewing it. Specifically, the officials said they did not know if bin Laden himself had acquired or viewed the materials.

Man of unknown religious affiliation tries to storm airplane cockpit screaming “Allahu Akbar!”

The passengers sat stunned as they watched a man walk quickly toward the front of American Airlines Flight 1561 as it was descending toward San Francisco. He was screaming and then began pounding on the cockpit door.

“I kept saying to myself: ‘What’s he doing? Does he have a bomb? Is he armed?’” passenger Angelina Marty said.

Within moments Sunday, a flight attendant tackled Rageh Almurisi. Authorities do not yet have a motive.

While authorities said that Almurisi, 28, of Vallejo, Calif., has no clear or known ties to terrorism, the incident underscored fears that extremists may try to mount attacks to retaliate for the death of al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden last week.

Federal agents are investigating Almurisi’s background. He was carrying a Yemeni passport and a California identification card, authorities said.

…Marty, 35, recalled that she and other passengers on the plane were stunned when they saw Almurisi walking down the aisle. She said a woman in a row across from her who speaks Arabic translated that Almurisi said “God is Great!” in Arabic.

Andrew Wai, another passenger, told KGO-TV on Monday that the wife of one of the men who took Almurisi down later said Almurisi was yelling “Allahu Akbar.”

“There was no question in everybody’s mind that he was going to do something,” Marty said.

A male flight attendant tackled Almurisi, and other crew members and passengers, including a retired Secret Service agent and a retired San Mateo police officer, helped subdue him as he banged on the door, police said. The flight attendant put plastic handcuffs on him.

Missing from the story is any mention of Islam or a Muslim background.  I’m probably bigoted just for making that observation.  I will go flail myself now to appease the P.C. gods goddesses deities.  The flight attendant and crew members who subdued the man will probably be investigated by Nappy Napolitano for their right-wing extremism any day now.

Let’s see: Yemeni passport; speaking in Arabic; shouting “Allahu Akbar”, words that normally proceed acts of jihadism; trying to commandeer an airplane.  If only there were some common or connecting bond…

But wait!  The sleuths at the AP have it figured out!

He might have seriously mistaken the cockpit for the bathroom,” Almoraissi said. “He’s only been on three planes in his whole life.” Almurisi was taking classes in California to learn English but was not happy with his progress, his cousin said.

Oh. My. Word.

Ah, yes.  I mean, normally when I’ve really got to pinch a loaf, I bolt for the john screaming “Praise Jesus!”  Who among us hasn’t broken out into a chorus of “Amazing Grace” while our bowels rumbled?  You know, if I had a nickel for every time I had to tap a kidney I yelled “God is awesome!”, I would…um…not even have a nickel.

Night and Day, “Pelosi on bin Laden” edition

Queen Botox in 2006:

[E]ven if [Osama bin Laden] is caught tomorrow, it is five years too late. He has done more damage the longer he has been out there. But, in fact, the damage that he has done . . . is done. And even to capture him now I don’t think makes us any safer.

Pe-lousy now:

The death of Osama bin Laden marks the most significant development in our fight against al-Qaida. . . . I salute President Obama, his national security team, Director Panetta, our men and women in the intelligence community and military, and other nations who supported this effort for their leadership in achieving this major accomplishment. . . . [T]he death of Osama bin Laden is historic. . . .

But it’s the Republicans that are politicizing OBL’s death, right?

Consistency, integrity, and shame are sooooooo passé!

UPDATED: MSM reporting that Osama bin Laden is dead

Details are sketchy right now (10:52 pm EST on Sunday night), but the dinosaur media is atwitter that Osama bin Laden has assumed cave temperature.  No idea if it was kidney disease, a bullet in his gourd, tainted falafel, or whatever.  All I do know is that if this is true…

May bin Laden burn a crispy noire forever in Hell!

No word as to whether or not his adoring fan, Sen. Patty Murray(D-WA), will be attending bin Laden’s funeral.

UPDATE (05/01/2011 – 11:03 PM EST): Sources say that apparently, OBL was killed last week in a U.S. strike by Navy SEALs putting a bullet in his gourd.  Last week?  They’ve been waiting on DNA testing of his remains to confirm that the body in U.S. possession is indeed that of OBL, and the tests apparently are positive.

UPDATE (05/02/2011 – 12:02 PM EST): Details and chronology here.  It appears as though we got intel on OBL’s courier four years ago (during the “Bu$hitler McCheneyburton regime”), who led us right to bin Laden.  How did we get this intel?  Harsh interrogation tactics at Gitmo!  😆  Hey, libs, remind us again: how are these techniques are a bad thing?

UPDATE (05/02/2011 – 12:31 PM EST): Remember when Obama and his minions detested “secret prisons” a couple of years ago?  Now that those “secret prisons” got us early intel that culminated in exterminating a large cockroach yesterday, suddenly the left loves them some “secret prisons”.  Good times, good times.

US government: Protect the Koran at all costs, but torching the Bible is A-OK

Shameful details:

The U.S. government under Barack Obama is deeply committed to battling any belittlement, criticism, or questioning of Islam. (“I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States,” he said, “to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.”)

At the same time, however, it is OK, in the Obama regime [SEE BELOW FOR AN UPDATE],  for the U.S. government to burn Bibles. Yes, that’s right. Bibles were sent to U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan. But the U.S. government determined that  the presence of Bibles in this “devoutly Muslim country” might inflame the natives.  So they burned them. Why did they burn them? Because it is military policy to burn its trash.

So, the Bibles, according to U.S. policy, are trash, garbage, and it’s OK to burn them.

When it comes to the Koran, however, an official Department of Defense memo specifies a rather different procedure. Item 4, “Handling”:

  1. Clean gloves will be put on in full view of the detainees prior to handling.
  2. Two hands will be used at all times when handling the Koran in manner signaling respect and reverence. Care should be used so that the right hand is the primary one used to manipulate any part of the Koran due to the cultural association with the left hand. Handle the Koran as if it were a fragile piece of delicate art.

Isn’t that nice? Handle it “as if it were a fragile piece of delicate art.” But burn the Bible because it is just part of your trash.

If jihadism doesn’t kill us, political correctness will.

I’m not worried.  Why?  Because I’m but a mere nomad on this mudball in this lifetime, biding my time until God calls me to my real and eternal Home.  Those of you who aren’t so sure, though?  Well, sucks for you.

Lindsey Graham: I’m not a big fan of the First Amendment during wartime

Memo to Tea Party: Please, please primary this jack#ss!

Background: A FL pastor burns some Korans.  The followers of “the religion of peace” react predictably: violence, murder, and outrageously outrageous outrage.  The FL pastor refuses to accept responsibility for the reaction of the Muslim world.

Video clip here, but the offensive quote from Graham is this:

I wish we could find some way to hold people accountable. Free speech is a great idea, but we’re in a war.

1.  The First Amendment isn’t an “idea”, you moron.  It’s a Constitutional right.  Google it sometime.

2.  Does anyone recall him threatening the Code Pinkos and the moonbatosphere during the last decade for using their First Amendment rights (however obnoxious the moonbats may be)?  I don’t.  But instead, he wants to threaten someone for ticking off the camelhumping jihadists of the Muslim world?

3.  Is this amnesty shill trying to say that our Constitution ceases to exist during war time?  As Allah asks, “Are we ‘at war’ only if troops are in the field? No Koran-burning, in other words, until the last U.S. serviceman has left Iraq and Afghanistan (and Libya)?”

The Tea Party certainly didn’t do America any favors with Sharron Angle in NV and Christine O’DoneNothingInMyLife in DE.  They did, however, do us a huge favor in KY with Rand Paul, in FL with Marco Rubio, and in UT with Mike Lee.  Certainly if they field a non-whackjob in SC, the reliably red SC will send a real Republican to the Senate.  If that happens, adios, Grahamnesty!

German shooter who killed US service members screamed “Allahu Akbar”; ABC wonders what his motivation may have been

Tragedy #1:  Brave service members lost their lives to this Muslim nutjob.

Tragedy #2:  The MSM can’t quite figure out what might have been the raison d’etre behind the attack.

Hmmmm…what could it be?

Sources told ABC News that the victims were on a bus at Frankfurt airport. The bus was marked United States Air Force and was carrying 13 or 14 people, plus the driver. U.S. intelligence is trying to determine whether the shooting occurred while the gunman was on the bus or while he was trying to board the bus.

When he opened fire, the gunman, identified as a long-term resident of Germany, shouted “Allahu Akbar,” according to sources. He fired nine times, killling two and critically wounding two others before the gun jammed and he was subdued by other passengers. While being wrestled into submission, the suspect shouted either “Jihad Jihad” or “Allahu Akbar,” sources said.

Omitted from the entire article are any references to “Islam” or “Muslim” at all.  Because “Allahu Akbar” and “Jihad” are phrases that any kid on the street in Frankfurt can be heard uttering, right?

Obama’s Director of National “Intelligence”: The Muslim Brotherhood is really a “secular” organization

You want to know how bad this is?  It’s so bad even the fellatrix media at MSDNC went “Dude…seriously?”  Details:

“The term ‘Muslim Brotherhood’…is an umbrella term for a variety of movements, in the case of Egypt, a very heterogeneous group, largely secular, which has eschewed violence and has decried Al Qaeda as a perversion of Islam,” Clapper said.

How “secular” is the “Muslim Brotherhood”?  This much:

The Brotherhood uses the slogan, “Islam is the answer,” and generally advocates for government in accordance with Islamic principles. The movement has as a broad goal unifying what it perceives as Muslim lands, from Spain to Indonesia, as a “caliphate.”

The spin hath begun:

Jamie Smith, director of the office of public affairs for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence later said in a statement to ABC News: “To clarify Director Clapper’s point – in Egypt the Muslim Brotherhood makes efforts to work through a political system that has been, under Mubarak’s rule, one that is largely secular in its orientation – he is well aware that the Muslim Brotherhood is not a secular organization.”

We’re in good hands, my friends.

Please let November 2012 get here post haste.

Portland mayor recognizes the main threat to his city: Islamophobes

A Somali-American Muslim decides to bomb Portland, OR, during a Christmas tree lighting ceremony.  Said Muslim’s plot is foiled.  Portland beefs up security…for Muslims, naturally.  Details:

Patrols around mosques and other Islamic sites in Portland have been stepped up as Muslim leaders expressed fears of retribution, days after a Somali-American man was accused of trying to blow up a van full of explosives during the city’s Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

Portland Mayor Sam Adams said Sunday that he beefed up protection around mosques “and other facilities that might be vulnerable to knuckle-headed retribution” after hearing of the bomb plot.

Right.  Because it was someone from an Islamophobe background, and not someone from a Muslim fanatic background, that tried to bomb his city…right?

If Islamofascism doesn’t destroy America, political correctness will.  If you live in Portland, I advise you to get the hell out.  Your mayor is more concerned about not offending people than he is about keeping his city’s residents safe.

Bubba: Let’s build the Ground zero mosque to honor the victims of 9/11…the Muslim victims!

When he’s not diddling portly interns, Bubba emerges long enough to spout this drivel:

Former President Bill Clinton strongly supports Park51, the mosque and community center planned near Ground Zero, he said in an interview posted on YouTube Sunday.

“I believe people should be free to practice their faith,” Clinton told Steve Grove, YouTube’s head of news and politics.

Someone please explain to the Horny Hick from Hope that this has jack squat to do with the right to worship freely.  Asking them to move a mosque is not the same as denying them their right to worship.

But here’s the kicker:

Clinton also had a suggestion for the builders of Park51.

“Much or even most of the controversy…could have been avoided, and perhaps still can be, if the people who want to build the center were to simply say, ‘We are dedicating this center to all the Muslims who were killed on 9/11,'” Clinton said.

Dedicating the center to the Muslim victims would show that “not all Muslims are terrorists,” Clinton said, and it could help unite all the family members of 9/11 victims in a common cause of remembrance. Many 9/11 family members have been outspoken in opposition of the center.

“We’ve all forgotten: There were a lot of Muslims killed on 9/11,” Clinton said.

Right…like Mohammed Atta and 18 of his buddies?

Friggin’ sicko.  He needs to stick to things he’s good at, like using chunky 20-somethings for his personal humidor.

My “Gainesville Koran burning” take

My apologies for making you fine folks wait this long for my coveted opinion on the Gainesville Koran burning thing.  I know you have been waiting with bated breath.  😆

First of all, anything that originates in Gainesville is stupid.  That goes without saying.  😀

Secondly, the pastor who is doing this cannot be doing this with Christian intentions.  While our Bible teaches us that there is only one way to Heaven (and that’s through faith in Jesus) and that we are to be unapologetic and unashamed of Him in every way, it teaches us a lot of other things, too.  Intentionally enflaming a lot of people, without regard for anyone who may be adversely affected, is not a Christian trait.  This is not being done with love in his heart, at least not in any way that I can see.

Finally, General Petraeus says it’s a horrible idea in terms of the dangers that the burning could bring to our troops.  I’ll defer to his superior judgment on that matter, so if he says it endangers the troops, that’s good enough for me to oppose it.

All that said, I find the reaction of the left to be infuriating and hypocritical.

For one, President Training Wheels has opined that the Koran burning is a horrible thing to do.  Shouldn’t he be saying something like “I support their First Amendment right to do this.  I’m not going to comment on the wisdom of doing it, though.”?  I mean, he had no qualms about Muslims building a mosque on Ground Zero, saying that the First Amendment was sacred.  Now that a group of maybe 50 people want to exercise their First Amendment rights, suddenly it’s not a good idea?  President Kick#ss is voting “Present” on the wisdom of building a Ground Zero mosque but voting “No!” on the wisdom of Koran burning.

Also, part of what this pastor is doing is (he claims) based on his observation that Islam is a violent religion.  So how does the Muslim world react to this pastor’s claims of violence in their religion?  Why, they react with threats of violence, that’s how!  Way to prove your opposition right, Ahmed.

Finally, isn’t it refreshing (or sad, take your pick) to finally find a religion around which the left can rally?  After crapping on Christianity since time immemorial, the left finally gets around to fighting for a religion…and it’s a religion that wants them dead.  Friggin’ brilliant, leftards.  Ace sums it up beautifully (profanity redacted):

Furthermore, we continue to encourage Islamist killers. Every time they kill, what message does the nation and its communicative institutions parrot over and over?

1) Islam is a religion of peace.

2) Islam is one of the world’s “great religions.”

3) The overwhelming majority of Islam’s faithful are good, pious people.

Every time they murder in the name of Allah, then, we all collectively begin shouting how f##king wonderful Allah is.

Is it any surprise they continue to murder us then? They kill us, and we then proselytize on their behalf.

I’m not pulling a Charlie Crist here and waffling on the matter.  I think the Gainesville church should drop the idea of burning Korans, for reasons both Christian and strategic in nature.  But I don’t need the hypocritical,  politically correct left telling us about how bad it is, as their views ring quite hollow.

Obama’s DOJ shuts down prosecution of U.S.S. Cole bomber

Remember when President Kick#ss promised the U.S.S. Cole and 9/11 families justice?  Well, as is the case with his other promises, that one also had an expiration date.  “Words.  Just words.”

From the Washington comPost:

The Obama administration has shelved the planned prosecution of Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, the alleged coordinator of the Oct. 2000 suicide attack on the USS Cole in Yemen, according to a court filing.

The decision at least temporarily scuttles what was supposed to be the signature trial of a major al-Qaeda figure under a reformed system of military commissions. And it comes practically on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the attack, which killed 17 sailors and wounded dozens when a boat packed with explosives ripped a hole in the side of the warship in the port of Aden.

In a filing this week in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, the Justice Department said that “no charges are either pending or contemplated with respect to al-Nashiri in the near future.”

Apparently, B.O. didn’t think his personal and his party’s approval ratings were nearly low enough, so he’s going for broke.

Exit question:  With examples like this (to add to the already long list of examples), why does the left seem puzzled that there is a growing suspicion that B.O. is more Muslim than any other faith?

Ground Zero Mosque? Sure. But first…

I know, I know.  The AP told me I can’t call it the Ground Zero Mosque anymore…which, of course, means I’m going to call it the Ground Zero Mosque even more that I would have had they kept their leftist cakeholes shut.  Anywho, awesomely McAwesome analogy from Ace:

Is it time to return the Stars and Bars to the South Carolina State House?

I ask because I thought the rule was that an understandable revulsion to the memory of an emotionally-wounding time was enough to win out over a noisy, self-promoting group’s determination to advertise its views in a prominent, highly-symbolic area… but now I find that’s not so true, not so true.

So — Confederate flag at the SC statehouse again?

Because the people flying the flag there say they too have good, non-objectionable motivations for doing so — a reminder of heritage, honoring the dead, etc., etc. But previously we have shown skepticism towards their claimed motivations, and also decided their motivations were irrelevant — it wouldn’t even matter, we decided, if their motives were pure; the important thing was the Confederate flag was too hurtful to have near the people’s house of government.

Again, so I now find out this isn’t the rule anymore.

So if it’s not the rule anymore: Why can’t we have the Confederate flag at the SC statehouse?

Yes, I know, blacks (and others, including whites) consider it offensive and a nasty reminder of a national tragedy; but the spokesmen from Cordoba House have a response to such concerns, and that response is “F##k yourself, get over it already.”

So why doesn’t that work in South Carolina, too?

Why should we not take this “F##k yourself, get over it already” principle of moderate Muslim outreach wide and apply it to other emotionally-charged scenarios?

Pelosi: Hey, let’s investigate those who oppose building of Ground Zero mosque!

Pe-loco: The First Amendment is soooooo 1787!  Details:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat, called for an investigation of those who are protesting the building of the Ground Zero Mosque on Tuesday. She told San Francisco’s KCBS radio:

“There is no question there is a concerted effort to make this a political issue by some. And I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque being funded,” she said. “How is this being ginned up that here we are talking about Treasure Island, something we’ve been working on for decades, something of great interest to our community as we go forward to an election about the future of our country and two of the first three questions are about a zoning issue in New York City.”

San Fransicko, you MUST be proud!

Exit question: So is she advocating investigating Harry Reid?

Night and Day, “Obama’s support for Ground Zero mosque” edition

Prez Kick#ss on Friday:

President Barack Obama’s decision to make public comments Friday that further stoked an already brewing controversy over the construction of a mosque near ground zero was “purely” his own, an administration official said Saturday.

B.O. the next day:

“In this country we treat everybody equally and in accordance with the law, regardless of race, regardless of religion. I was not commenting and I will not comment on the wisdom of making the decision to put a mosque there. I was commenting very specifically on the right people have that dates back to our founding. That’s what our country is about.”

And then after the pullback, he pulled back the pullback:

An administration official said Obama didn’t change his position on the mosque from Friday to Saturday. Obama believes it’s his job to uphold a fundamental piece of the Constitution that everyone be treated equally under the law, the official said.

The president believes it was appropriate for the board in Manhattan to approve the project near ground zero, the official said, and he was “absolutely not” walking back his remarks from Friday.

“The fair thing to do was to allow this to go forward,” the official said.

So the Community Organizer-in-Chief thought it would be a fine idea to weigh in on the legal right to build a mosque at Ground Zero (a right that few people are arguing), and only the legal right?  I don’t think anyone was talking about the legal right, but the morality or wisdom of building a mosque at a site where 3,000 Americans were slaughtered by nutjobs of the religion that will be commemorated by this mosque.  Besides, no one thinks he was merely speaking of the legal right, but that he was giving an outright endorsement of the idea (his denials to the contrary notwithstanding).  As Jon at Exurban League tweets: “Obama’s statement last night ticked off 70% of the country. His ‘clarification’ today has ticked off the other 30%.”

The Dems are already slated to take a beating in November, and this can’t possibly help.

NASA finds new mission: Muslim outreach

What in the smoldering blue Hell is this crap???

In a far-reaching restatement of goals for the nation’s space agency, NASA administrator Charles Bolden says President Obama has ordered him to pursue three new objectives: to “re-inspire children” to study science and math, to “expand our international relationships,” and to “reach out to the Muslim world.”  Of those three goals, Bolden said in a recent interview with al-Jazeera, the mission to reach out to Muslims is “perhaps foremost,” because it will help Islamic nations “feel good” about their scientific accomplishments.

You. Must. Be. Shiiting. Me.

Not a single one of these objectives has jack shiite to do with outer space!  Besides, how would a math problem in the Muslim school world read, in order to inspire the little jihadi larvae being brainwashed educated there?

Ahmed has 10 lbs. of C-4 strapped to his 13-year-old body.  If 1 lb. of C-4 wipes out 1000 sq. ft. when detonated, then how many Jewish pigs and other infidels can Ahmed wipe out at the local Tel Aviv sidewalk café on his way to see Allah and the 72 concubines?

President Kick#ss personally told Bolden to pursue this collectivist group hug policy.  Hopenchange continues to run amok in this country, no?

Jimmah Carter: Crap, you mean I can’t cozy up to Hamas and Hezbollah anymore?

Jimmy the Dhimmi is fretting over Monday’s Supreme Court ruling about providing material support to terrorist groups.  Details:

Former President Jimmy Carter has voiced concern that Monday’s Supreme Court ruling on “material support” to terrorist groups may criminalize his “work to promote peace and freedom.”
Carter, whose advocacy has entailed contact with groups designated by the U.S. government as “foreign terrorist organizations” (FTOs) – notably Hamas and Hezbollah – said he was disappointed by the court decision.
The high court, in a 6-3 decision, upheld a federal law that forbids providing “material support” to an FTO, ruling that it can be applied to U.S. organizations whose engagement with terrorists involves promoting non-violent solutions to conflicts.
The law, part of the post-9/11 USA Patriot Act, forbids the provision of any aid, defined as including “service,”  “training” or “expert advice or assistance,” to a designated FTO.

In a statement reacting to the decision, Carter said, “We are disappointed that the Supreme Court has upheld a law that inhibits the work of human rights and conflict resolution groups.”

Yeah, because when I think of “human rights and conflict resolution groups”, I naturally think of Hamas and Hezbollah.

Carter, the most anti-Semitic president this country has ever had the shame in electing, has a history of playing kissyface with thugs, dictators, and terrorists.  Now, he fears criminal prosecution for it.  Sucks for him.  Schmuck.

Exit question: Do you think that Jimmah sees President Kick#ss quickly gaining ground on his own legacy as America’s worst president ever, and thus is trying to keep his reign in tact with this horrendous publicity stunt?  “Darnit, The Won just may make people forget me.  I’m not going to stand for that!”

al-Reuters strikes again, doctoring photos in Gaza flotilla story

al-Reuters, the “one man’s ‘terrorist’ is another man’s freedom fighter” organization, has been guilty in the past of using “fauxtography”, aka “fauxtoshopping”, whereby they intentionally doctor a photo to advance their anti-Israeli agenda.

Well, they’ve done it again.  And you really need to go see the photos (original and doctored) to get an appreciation of how corrupt, biased, and unreliable al-Reuters is.  Cropping out terrorists’ knives, watermarking over an Israeli soldier’s blood, etc.

Media bias is one thing, but for the love of Pete, this is pure, unadulterated advocacy journalism of the worst kind!

Obama administration’s response to Times Square bombing plot? Why, cut terrorism funding for NYC, of course!

Face, meet palm.  D’oh!

President Obama arrives in lower Manhattan Thursday afternoon to thank the NYPD for its heroic in an attempted Times Square bomb – but the photo-op may not go according to plan.

The Department of Homeland Security told congressional officials Wednesday that it’s moving to make cuts in anti-terror funding to New York City, less than two weeks after cops helped thwart and attempted car bombing in Times Square – an effort the White House has since pinned on the Pakistani Taliban.

The cuts, lawmakers were told, amount to about 25 percent for port security, and another 27 percent for transit security, according to several reports.

It “just makes no sense at all, particularly in light of recent events,” Sen. Charles Schumer told cable station NY1’s “Inside City Hall.” “The worst nightmare we probably face is some kind nuclear device placed in a container in the ship in the harbor and exploding….we need all the help we can get.”

How’s about a little of that “liberal nuance” we all know and love?

DHS insisted there was more nuance than being described by some officials, and that there are actually additions to other programs that even out the apparent cuts.

Exit prediction (and not of the “going out on a limb” variety): Those dolts in NYC will still vote for this vermin come 2012.

MSNBC and NYC mayor Bloomberg: You mean the Times Square bomber WASN’T a rabid teabagger?

MSNBC and both of their viewers are bummed that the Times Square bomber is a bloodthirsty camelhumping jihadist instead of a frothing Tea Partier.  Mayor Bloomberg, elected shortly after jihadists brought down the Twin Towers in his city, doesn’t seem to recall that event, opining that he too thought it must have been Tea Partiers ticked off about ObamaCare.

The AP?  They just fall back into reflexive and lazy mode…blaming Bush.  Seriously.

D#mned liberals are intent on using political correctness to destroy this country!

Obama to delete references to “Islamic terrorism” in security policy documents

Let’s see here:

The Taliban.  al Qaeda.  Hamas.  Hezbollah.  Iran’s ruling clerics.  If only I could find one common bond, one thing they all share…

Well, I know one thing they don’t share in common, thanks to President Spineless:

President Barack Obama’s advisers will remove religious terms such as “Islamic extremism” from the central document outlining the U.S. national security strategy and will use the rewritten document to emphasize that the United States does not view Muslim nations through the lens of terror, counterterrorism officials said.

The change is a significant shift in the National Security Strategy, a document that previously outlined the Bush Doctrine of preventative war and currently states: “The struggle against militant Islamic radicalism is the great ideological conflict of the early years of the 21st century.”

So does this mean that B.O. just solved our national security problems related to Islamic terrorist attacks?  Simply remove references to it, and presto change-o…no more Islamic terrorism!  Dude’s so awesome he just eradicated militant Islamic extremism…with his mind!  You’re welcome, America.

God help us until the grown-ups and normal Americans can get back in charge!
