Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

Obama cultists…er, supporters…stunned that their taxes went up

Hey, I know: after four years of economic stagnation, let’s vote the guy back in.  Cuz Bush sucks.  And Romney’s rich. Or something.

This just in: Romney’s STILL rich.  And you’ll never be.  Anywho:

Sometimes, watching a Democrat learn something is wonderful, like seeing the family dog finally sit and stay at your command.

With President Obama back in office and his life-saving “fiscal cliff” bill jammed through Congress, the new year has brought a surprising turn of events for his sycophantic supporters.

“What happened that my Social Security withholding’s in my paycheck just went up?” a poster wrote on the liberal site DemocraticUnderground.com. “My paycheck just went down by an amount that I don’t feel comfortable with. I guarantee this decrease is gonna’ hurt me more than the increase in income taxes will hurt those making over 400 grand. What happened?”

Shocker. Democrats who supported the president’s re-election just had NO idea that his steadfast pledge to raise taxes meant that he was really going to raise taxes. They thought he planned to just hit those filthy “1 percenters,” you know, the ones who earned fortunes through their inventiveness and hard work. They thought the free ride would continue forever.

So this week, as taxes went up for millions of Americans — which Republicans predicted throughout the campaign would happen — it was fun to watch the agoggery of the left.

The beauty of it:

But in fact, it was Mr. Obama who enacted the “holiday,” and, to be clear, the tax cut that he pushed throughout the campaign — remember? 98 percent of Americans will get a cut under his plan? — was really the extension of the Bush tax suts. Thus, it was Mr. Obama who raised taxes on millions of Americans, not Mr. Bush.

How many Americans? The nonpartisan Tax Policy Center in Washington put the total at 77.1 percent of all wage earners. In fact, “More than 80 percent of households with incomes between $50,000 and $200,000 would pay higher taxes. Among the households facing higher taxes, the average increase would be $1,635, the policy center said,” according to a Bloomberg News article. Hilariously, the tax burden will rise more for someone making $30,000 a year (1.7 percent) than it does for someone earning $500,000 annually (1.3 percent).

But, but, but…hey, gotta run, American Idol is on.

  1. I actually had a conversation today with a fellow worker, who is an Obama supporter, who said the non renewal of the payroll tax holiday is the Republicans fault. Obama wanted it because he cares about us in the middle and lower classes. Ugh!

The conversation actually started over the FEMA bill. He was blaming the Republicans for the “suffering” of those in NY, NJ and Ct. I said aren’t the Representatives and Senators who loaded $40 billion of pork on a $20 billion bill responsible. Their answer was, that’s the cost of getting what is needed, so be it.

And we wonder how we got to almost $17 Trillion in debt. Oh yeah, that’s Bush’s fault.

  2. Steve, You cant argue with a obama supporter. They are blinded. You would do better to argue with a pecan tree. Anyone who supports a queer lover as president is sick in the head. I think this is beatiful. We have full diversity in washington. Lesbians,Gays, muslims, budda, athiest, socialist , communist, scientogly, lazy, women. All the christians are out and no real Godly men with integrity. It will get very interesting in the next 6 months. If the supreme court allows same sex marriage the country will be destroy for good.

  4. ALLI, I have a big problem with it. You cannot vote the immoral and the evil in power and expect them to stand up for GOOD. All of our problems comes from this. When everybody excepts everything then there is nobody to stand up for what is right. The problem is not just only obama or guns or whatever. The problem is the mind set of the people. If you think that this wont afect you and your family then you are dead wrong. This will effect all of us.

  6. A immoral society will fall. It goes farther then that. A immoral society will change the truth, lie ,and cheat and steal. It will affect education, families and the work place. When Godly principles are no longer a standard for right and wrong then we will have broken families or little family values. Good leaders comes from good families. It is a downward spiral. This is the cause of all of these problems. History will repeat it self.

  7. As much as I believe in a child having two parents and an intact family, plenty of very good kids come from single or divorced parents. They are still families, just not living the way you believe they should be. Plus some kids are just better off removed from their biological parents and put with anyone capable of raising them. I see no problem with a gay couple taking in an orphaned child and raising him/her in a stable home. I have seen it done.

It just gets me that you spend so much concerning yourself with how others live, have sex, and worship. If they are living productively without imposing on anyone, then who cares. I realize some impose on us through entitlements, but you don’t fight that by imposing your God, your morals (some of which I find immoral) and your prejudice on others.

  8. Yes alli, A kid that comes from a poor, homeless,or divorvced family can turn out very well in live. A child has no control of where he is born. But their chances are less and they have more hurdles in life!!!
Let me explain same sex to you. It is a men poking another man inside his rectum. If you dont have a problem with that then you are sick!!! If that what you or anyone wants to do It his your problem and I dont care. I do have a problem when the commander in chief orThe president of the united states that has the power to push a button for 1500 nuclear missles that thinks its perfectly normal for people to poke other men in the rectum. .Then put them as military commanders and wants to make it a law of the land. You dont vote for sick minded people to run or country and make laws.
I know you dont agree but we will see in the near future where this thinking will lead us. I hope im wrong but we will see very little food in our grocery stores and perhaps people dieing of hunger. Our money will be like paper and we will end up with a dictator . USA will be bye bye
Also I dont push my religion on you and you can believe what you want. But My God has a moral standard and If your god believes it is normal for men poking in other men rectum then go for it. My God judges immoral behavier and he will send everyone to hell including you unless they come through his son and ask for repentence.

  9. I’m not into gay male sex either which is why I don’t participate in gay male sex. I’m grossed out by the thought of certain heterosexuals going at it, but it’s not my right to stop them. If you have such a problem that you cannot get your mind off of two men you don’t know poking each other in the rectum, then you either need therapy, a better sex life at home, or to come out of the closet and admit that you’re really just intrigued by the practice but religion is holding back your true desire.

  10. Alli, It all started out that when I said we cant have immoral people running this country. We need real men with intergrity . You cant have sick people making decisions to run our lives and then expect everything will be fine. These problem are also across the nation. Its not just washington. It is sad that we are in 2013 and we are arguing over right and wrong. Right and wrong is the same today as it was 5000 years ago,.
If you had a lot of money who would you get to manage it.?? Who would you pick to raise your kids if something were to happen?? Who would you get to balance your check book??? I would get the most honest and ethical people and then I would have checks and balances. This is exactly why we have these proplems in washington. I firmly believe this.

  11. “…In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.” Judges 21:25.
Nothing new under the sun….but, alas,
“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20
There will be a day of reckoning…but Jerry, this has been the way of a lost world for thousands of years. It is not a new thing.

  12. Kevin, You are exactly right!!! It appears that man can not learn from history. I believe it will be a sad day for the people that dont have a relationship with Christ. Im not saying dont pay your bills because christ is coming tomorrow but Im saying be prepared. The day of reckoning dont seem far off.

  13. Well, friend, I want to know how badly you wish to crush liberalism.

Is armed resistance out of the question? Is violent uprising forbidden?

Unless there is an opposing, resisting force to combat liberalism, all debate at best cancels each other out- the stubborn liberal can never be reformed, can never be changed, and it is only up to God to determine where they go.

I advocate force and violence, when it is justified. Considering the deafness and blindness of the enemy, it cannot be reasoned with, it can only be struck and beaten until it moves away from opposition. Force and violence against liberals is justified.

  14. Wow! Just Wow!

    Jerry and Ioannes,

I’m conservative. A common sense conservative. But you guys just gave proof of how radical the right has become. No wonder those moderates, centrist and independents voted Democrat in the last election.

Rants about Homosexuals. Calls for violence against liberals. VIOLENCE!

You are making the rest of us conservatives look bad. Earlier, I posted about a ridiculous conversation on the 2% tax increase (the topic of Crush’s post) and a liberals argument on the topic. Your posts are worse than any liberal argument ever given to me by the maddest moon bats.

    Comment by Steve | January 17, 2013

  15. Wow! Just WOW! Im a radical because I believe that we should have moral people running our country? Or because I believe that it is sick, disgusting that we have a president that supports homosexual!!! Or because I dont support abortion? Or because I support Isreal? Steve, If you believe that is radical then you are not a conservative. If you believe that it is common sense to support homosexual { Men poking other man in rectum ] then you are sick man.

What is wrong with Ioannes being fed up with what is happening? How is that radical? If american men never justified fighting you would not be here . Was Gen Patton or general Mc Auther radicals because they fought.?? So many americans died for good and then you call someone radical because they dont support a president that is for homosexaulity or abortion. Where are you from??

    Comment by Jerry | January 18, 2013

  16. Ioannes, First of all I cant fight. I worked soo hard that I didnt take care of myself. I would work 7 days and 17 hours a day and Im 50 years old and now i have a bad heart. How ever I dont think a armed resistence is out of the question. I believe we will have a uprising. But this war is going to be different and I want you think about what Im saying even if you dont agree.
1 Who are you going to fight? Your brother, friends, sister or neighbor? Most of the people work for the school, city, county, state, federal government, or living on welfare and social security. This is 90 percent of the people. Obama is not the problem. Its the people that supports him. Hitler wasnt the problem. It was the masses that supported him
2 This group of people in government is supported from something very big. They are wanting world government. These people have a plan in place to deal with a uprising.
3 I believe you will have a lot of unrest and liberals fighting for food and dieing of hunger. The country side will have armed groups protecting each other. Maybe texas and some of the southern state will divide. No matter what happens we have to walk everyday with Christ. In this situation the holy spirit will guide us. I really believe this. It is soo sad that we are living in a america and we are talking about this. I believe that there is a good chance we may see the rapture very soon.
