Crush Liberalism

Liberalism: Why think when you can “feel”?

Red states more charitable in giving than blue states

Go figure.

The eight states whose residents gave the highest share of their income — Utah, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, Idaho, Arkansas and Georgia — all backed McCain in 2008. Utah leads charitable giving, with 10.6 percent of income given.

And the least generous states — Wisconsin, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine and New Hampshire — were Obama supporters in the last presidential race. New Hampshire residents gave the least share of their income, the Chronicle stated, with 2.5 percent.

Liberals equate paying taxes with charity.  Uh, wrong.  Taxes are not voluntary.  Charitable giving is.  Liberals are far more generous with other people’s money, not so much when it comes to their own.

A random act of journalism (or “even a blind squirrel finds an acorn occasionally”): Blitzer torches DWS on Ryan Medicare lie!

Whoa…is this really Wolf Blitzer?  How did this make it past CNN’s editors?  Great analysis here.  Watch the nagging mare stammer after briefly conceding Wolf is right, around the 3:45 mark.  Pure comedy gold!

Newt to Piers Morgan on CNN: Say, you guys kinda sound like Obama surrogates, huh?

Video and partial transcript at Newsbusters.  It’s brief, so check it out.  Takeaway line, though:

Now, nobody in the media seems to want to come to grips with the fact that the Obama economic policy is a disaster for the poor. Look at the unemployment rate for black teenagers. Look at the unemployment rate for Latino teenagers. At what point do we hold the president accountable for a policy which is crippling the poor in America by crushing the economy under big government?

Ryan and Romney represent a different approach. And I think there’s this mantra you guys almost sound like you’re an extension of the Obama campaign. The Ryan/Romney plan empowers middle class Americans to get a job. When they get a job, their income goes up. They pay more taxes. They are independent. They’re able to live their own lives.

As for CNN: Nope…no liberal media bias!

Despicable Obama ad blaming Romney for killing a worker’s wife is so bad that…wait…even MSNBC slams him?

Dude, you know you have jumped the shark when the mouthbreathing fellatrix lineup at MSDNC thinks you’ve gone too far.
